Advises the instructing party about the merits of the case
Applies knowledge and experience to observe and assess construction work to determine whether it complies with the building regulations and provide a reasoned report
Attends a conclave with the other party’s expert to determine what can be agreed and if not agreed the reasoning for the disagreement
Gives evidence about the findings of the report

He has acted as expert, arbitrator, referee, adjudicator, expert determiner and mediator in building and engineering matters since 1990.
